Review of Carnival Vista deck 6 (Upper-Cabins-Teens)
Circle C is a children club lounge (for kids 12-14 yo) open between 5 pm - 1 am (portdays) and between 12-noon - 1 am (seadays). The experience (complimentary) includes dedicated lounge area with modern design, dance floor, high-tech sound and lighting system, video jukebox, gaming pods and consoles (tied to flat TVs), plasma TV (for movies/gaming competitions), FunHub stations (Internet), dedicated director, specifically designed activities, such as video gaming, movies, themed parties, scavenger hunts, karaoke, Make Your Own Pizza, sport competitions (basketball, dodgeball, mini-golf), music and movie/cartoon trivia games, arts-crafts (origami, bead making, T-shirt decoration), late-night hangouts with teens (lido deck), Twister Waterslide racing. Children are allowed to come and go as they please. Among the outside Circle C places for dedicated activities are the ship’s disco nightclub, theater, sports court, Waterworks park, pool deck (Pizzeria).
The Warehouse (video arcade /branded name) is open 24 hours for both kids and adults. The Arcade is supervised by dedicated staff and has foosball (air hockey) tables, photo kiosk, popular merchandising games (incl skeeball) and arcade machines. All 28 machines are coinless (payable via S&S cards only). Playing costs between $0,75 – $2 (most are $1 per game). The daily arcade play limit ($75 pp) can be adjusted by parents/guardians upon request. Among the available for playing games are Redemption Games (E-ticket rewards are loaded to the S&S card and at any time can be redeemed for prizes /self-serve prize hub in the arcade), Self-Merchandisers (games of skill /electronic prizes at the machine), latest arcades (car-racing, dance, bike simulators, first-person shooters).
Carnival Multiplex is a cinematic hub that includes the IMAX and Thrill cinemas (both at additional price /not included in the cruise fares).
IMAX theater is the ship’s indoor theater with a 3-decks high screen for newest Hollywood movies, also IMAX films (both classics and documentaries) and 3D movies. The screen is floor-ceiling and wall-to-wall (sized 43 x 24 ft / 13 x 7,3 m). The IMAX cinema’s first-run movies are at extra charge per person (US$13 per adult, and US$10 per kid / senior). IMAX documentaries are equally priced for everyone (US$5,50).
Thrill Theater is the 5D cinema for the Carnival’s multi-dimensional experience with special effects. Popcorn and snacks are a la carte priced.
Upper Deck passenger cabins from 6201 to 6482, of which Inside (categories 4D, 4E, 4J-Obstructed), and the rest are Balcony staterooms categories 8A, 8B, 8M-Aft Extended Balcony, 9B-9C-Premium.
