18 December 2019Ship GroundingOn December 18, 2019, AQUA BLU ran aground (onto a reef) off the coast of Wajag Island (Raja Ampat, Indonesia). With the high tide, the cruise ship self-refloated and continued towards Batanta Island (Raja Ampat). No injuries or serious serious hull damages were reported, but a portion of the coral reef was destroyed. |
