08 September 2010Crew / Passenger DeathsOn September 8, 2010, a total of 9 cruise ship passengers were killed and 14 were injured in a bus crash in Ceuta (Spanish Morocco). Of the dead passengers, 8 were female (including 1 teenage girl), and all of them were of Portuguese origin. Among the injured was also the Moroccan tour guide. The accident occurred after the tour bus skidded off the road and plunged into a ravine. The official statement by Classic International Cruises added that the bus was carrying a total of 44 tourists. |
