Viking Prestige cabins review
Of all Viking Prestige cabins, 70% have a private balcony (“French” or “false balcony” with floor-ceiling sliding doors). Suite accommodations feature 2 separate rooms (a living room and a bedroom) – each with its own French balcony (2 balconies per suite). The number of all cabin categories is 7. Most cruise staterooms have a max capacity of 2 guests per cabin (with the exception of the Single Occupancy cabins).
Follows the review of Viking Cruises Viking Prestige staterooms as furniture, price-included amenities and complimentary services:
- Hotel beds, size 79 x 63 inches (size 200 x 160 cm), optional twin-bed configuration, ample under beds space for suitcases, wardrobe with hangers, dimmer lighting. Suites have a sofa and walk-In closet, and all cabins for singles are with a Sofa bed.
- Private bathroom with glass door shower, hairdryer, “L’Occitane” premium bath products (bathrobe/slippers upon request). Suites also have a bathtub.
- In all STANDARD cabins windows are not opening (size 4,8 x 2 ft / 145 x 60).
- Phone (direct dial), mini-fridge, personal safe, bowl with fresh fruits, complimentary bottled water (supplied daily).
- 26-inch HD flat TV, movies on demand, news channels (CNN, FOX, CNBC), NG, MGM, Sky Cinema, “View From the Bridge” (real-time webcam views).
- Individual climate control, 220V / 110V voltage.
- Complimentary laundry (no self-service onboard laundromats).
- Free of charge Wi-Fi internet (shipwide coverage).
