Adora Mediterranea deck plans

Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities

Adora Mediterranea deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2024-2025-2026 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Adora Cruises Carnival China deckplan pdf (printable version).

Each of the Adora Mediterranea cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Adora Mediterranea staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.

Costa Mediterranea (2003-built, last refurbished in 2024, last refurbishment by Costa in 2017) is the second/last of the Spirit-class Costa Cruises ships - together with Costa Atlantica. From this class are also the Carnival Cruise Lines/CCL's ships Legend, MiraclePride and Spirit.

In 2020-Q4, Costa Mediterranea left Costa's fleet to join CSSC-Carnival China Cruise Shipping/ADORA CRUISES. The new company started operations in 2019-Q3 with Costa Atlantica. In 2023, Adora's fleet joined Adora Magic City (CCL VISTA-Class newbuild).

Costa Mediterranea cruise ship deck plan shows a total of 1057 staterooms for 2114 passengers (max capacity is 2680), served by 900 crew-staff. The boat has 12 passenger-accessible decks (6 with cabins, all named after Greek mythology gods and goddesses), 3 restaurants, 14 lounges and bars, 4 swimming pools (one with retractable glass roof), 4 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpool hot tubs), 15 elevators, no self-service laundromats (passenger-use laundry facilities).

Mediterranea has many modern artworks (inspired by 17-18th-century Italian palaces and famous buildings) on display at various places throughout the ship.

Besides the ship's staff and crew, Costa cruise passengers are also served by Peper robots - the latest cyborg technology implemented fleetwide in 2016. These humanoid robots greet and guide passengers upon embarkation. They also assist them throughout the cruise by providing information and tips on onboard dining, entertainment, enrichment program (workshops, pre-scheduled events), casino and shopping promotions, shore excursions and tours. Pepper robots are mobile and communicate in 3 languages (English, German, Italian). They can also interpret human emotions by analyzing voice tones and facial expressions.

Costa Mediterranea 2013 refurbishment review

During the ship's 2013 drydock refurbishment (November 21 - December 4, conducted by Fincantieri in Palermo Sicily) were performing routine maintenance (hull cleaning, repainting), all public venues received new carpets and curtains. The refurbishment project was budgeted EUR 4 million.
