Review of AmaCello deck 4 (Sun)
The Lower Sun Deck seating area (bow location, forward of the Bridge) has several tables with chairs and offers unique vantage points for enjoying the riverside scenery along the AmaCello itinerary. Next are the Navigation Bridge (passenger accessible) and the stands for the bicycles used on AMAwaterways tours/excursions.
Navigation Bridge (called Wheelhouse on riverboats) can be lowered when the ship passes under low bridges.
The Cello’s all-teak Sun Deck is enclosed by glass railings and offers unobstructed 360° panoramic views. It features a heated-water whirlpool (located aft of the Bridge), sunbathing area with lounge chairs, and three retractable awnings in the back (shaded seating areas for relaxation). The seating-relaxation area is surrounded by the Walking Track.
On select days, on the Sun Deck passengers can enjoy an al fresco lunch. Each morning (if weather permits) guests can enjoy here an open-air group exercise class.
The Sun Deck is accessible from the Reception Lobby, from the Main Lounge, and also via a staircase from the Spa-Fitness (aft on the Violin Deck below).
