Review of AmaDouro deck 3 (Porto-Lounge)
Douro Lounge & Bar is the ship’s show lounge with a nightly live entertainment program. Here are also served early and late Breakfast and light Lunch (salads, sandwiches, cold meats, cheeses, desserts, beer, and wine by the glass). Douro Lounge has large panoramic windows for relaxing daily observation, dance floor, and grand piano for the live evening show. The entertainment program offers live performances by local artists (dancers and musicians). Douro Lounge serves the AMAwaterways enrichment program with wine and food tastings (Portuguese wines and food specialties), workshops, classes, and demonstrations. Depending on the visited ports along the Douro River cruise tour itinerary, Douro Lounge also hosts tours/excursions- and culture/history-themed lectures and multimedia presentations. The Lounge has a small open-air Teak Front Deck terrace (furnished with tables and chairs).
In the Bar Lounge is located the ship's 24-hour Coffee Station with complimentary specialty coffees/teas, light snacks, and juices.
In the Lobby area is located the Reception Desk, providing 24-hour guest services - assistance, information (on excursions and tours, daily scheduled activities), cashier services, AmaWaterways onboard cruise booking.
In the Lobby area is also the Gift Shop selling mostly special occasion gifts, traditional Portuguese souvenirs, and some convenience goods.
Cruise cabins from 301 to 320, all of which are Balcony rooms in categories A (Balcony) and C (French Balcony), plus the ship's four Suites (midship location, category S, cabins 301-302-303-304).
Glass-wall Elevator and a staircase connect to all cabin decks.
