The ship’s Navigation Bridge is called “Pilot House”. This “navigation room” is passenger-accessible.

The Swimming Pool is yet another unique feature, especially on a steamboat cruise ship. The pool area has padded loungers and chairs for relaxation.

The “Calliope Bar” has a 37-pipe calliope (musical instrument producing sounds through its brass whistles by using compressed air). This calliope was specially manufactured for the American Queen steamboat.

The “AQ Athletic Club” is a compact fitness/gym room with top-modern equipment, including for weight/resistance training (workout bench, dumbbells, “Kinesis One” single station/weight-lifting), treadmills, one stationary bike.

The sun deck is the only smoking-allowed area on the ship.
