Review of Arosa Luna deck 4 (Sun-Pool)
The fore-located Navigation Bridge (called “Wheelhouse” on riverboats) is passenger accessible and collapsible (can be lowered for passing under low bridges). Behind it is the Light Dome. It covers the ship’s Atrium area, letting natural daylight into the boat’s interior.
The ship’s second Restaurant is with a forward location. It is a buffet-style /casual dining venue with indoor/outdoor seating. The open-air area is covered by awnings. This restaurant hosts al-fresco lunches, cocktail hours, and Afternoon tea/coffee (with pastries and light snacks). Service here is by two buffet stations- Bar (drinks and beverages /starboard) and Grill buffet (fast food choices /portside).
The ship’s Sun Deck features a rectangular swimming pool. The pool area has a shower and a large sunbathing area with loungers. The Top Deck has a large shaded seating area with recliners. It is covered by retractable awnings that can be lowered for passing under low bridges and to respond to bad weather conditions.
Last in the list of ARosa Luna’s facilities is the Top Deck’s sports area. It has a Giant Chess Board and a large Golf Putting Green area, flanked by Shovelboard/Shuffleboard (portside) and Deck Games (starboard) areas.
