Review of Arosa Viva deck 4 (Sun)
On the Sun Deck is located the Navigation Bridge (called “Wheelhouse” on riverboats). The Bridge is passenger accessible and can be lowered for passing under low bridges.
The Top Deck has the Viva ship’s sunbathing area with sun loungers (about 80) and 2 showers. There is also a large seating area with recliners, which is covered by awnings that can be lowered for low bridges and to respond to the weather.
The Light Dome covers the Viva Atrium open-floor area, utilizing the natural daylight for illumination of the ship’s interior.
Among the Top Deck’s sports amenities are the Giant Chess Board, Golf Putting Green area, Shovelboard / Shuffleboard (deck games).
On the Sun Deck, there is an aft-location outdoor seating area with tables and chairs. This area serves as an Observation Lounge with panoramic 270° riverside scenery views. It also hosts al-fresco lunches and cocktail hours, served with drinks and hot dishes by the Mobile Bar (with a Grill station).
