Review of Crystal Symphony deck 6 (Tiffany-Lounge-Shops)
“Galaxy Lounge” is the ship’s 463-seat main show lounge for grand show and music productions. It has a large hydraulic stage with a dance floor around it, and a full orchestra.
The “Resorts World at Sea Casino” area is 4400 ft2 / 410 m2 in size and has 86 slots and poker machines, and several gambling tables (roulette, blackjack, craps, Baccarat, Ultimate Texas Hold’em). The Casino age limit is 21yo, the max bet limit is $300 pd (max $3000 per sailing).
“Hollywood Theatre” is a 143-seats cinema also with a stage for live show performances. It features Dolby-sound, multi-language translation system, hearing impaired devices. The theater also hosts daily conferences, meetings, lectures and presentations, Broadway-style show productions, Hollywood celebrities, comedy shows, classical recitals. The theater also hosts religious services by a Catholic priest.
“Jade” is the ship’s disco & nightclub with its own bar and dancefloor. It hosts a DJ program nightly, themed dancing parties, karaoke and trivia shows.
“Avenue of the Stars” is a 3000 ft2 / 280 m2 shopping area with three duty-free boutique shops (Apropos, Crystal Collection, Facets).
“Apropos” is a fashion apparel boutique selling fashion, formal and casual clothes, also Crystal-logo merchandise, luxury brand handbags and accessories, cosmetics.
“Facets” is a luxury boutique for brand jewelry and watches (Choppard, Stern, Rado, Belcarri), also selling gifts and collectibles.
“Crystal Collection” is a luxury boutique for perfumes and cosmetics, brand sunglasses (Armani, Dior, Gucci), designer accessories (Chopard, Hermes), souvenirs, sundries, sweets.
“The Bistro” is a Paris-inspired all-complimentary specialty coffee bar (portside, 70 seats capacity, open 9 am - 11 pm). It serves fine International cheeses, pastries, fresh-made desserts, exotic coffee and tea selection, also Champagne and fine wines by the glass.
Atrium (2-decks high midship area with a waterfall)
“Library” (portside) has 2000+ books in different languages, plus numerous movies and videos, audiobooks, board games – all available for borrowing free of charge.
“Starlite Club” is a 350-seats lounge with a circular bar, dancefloor, portside-to-starboard panoramic views. Starlite hosts daily trivia quizzes, lectures and presentations, bingo games, “Crystal Sextet” music performances in the evening. Also serves late-night snacks between 11-12 pm.
“The Vintage Room” (portside location) is fine dining venue with limited capacity (10 seats), with sommelier service and at surcharge (US$200 plus pp, depending on the wine selection). It hosts daily premium wine tastings and themed dinners. Here guests can sample fine wines and exotic culinary choices by visiting celebrity chefs. On special voyages it operates as “Ultimate Vintage Dining Room” when some of the world’s most rare wines are served, and the cover charge sores up to US$1,000 and more.
“Crystal Images Photo Shop” (photo and video services, equipment and accessories)
“Connoisseur Club” (starboard) is a fine cognac and cigar club (smoking lounge).
“Avenue Saloon” is a 58-seats piano bar (starboard) featuring dark wood-paneled walls, classy furniture and luxurious leather chairs. It offers live piano performances in the evenings and also serves snacks between 11-12pm.
UMI UMA Restaurant (fka Silk Road, rebranded as Umi Uma & Sushi Bar) is an Asian dinner-only specialty restaurant serving Master Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's signature dishes as well as fusion cuisine that blends Japanese traditional dishes with Peruvian ingredients. Dinner reservations are required. On shorter voyages (up to 11 days) Crystal Cruises offers a complimentary dinner at UMI UMA per person/per cruise. On longer voyages (12+ days) are offered two complimentary reservations per person.
The “Osteria D'Ovidio” restaurant (starboard location) is an Italian fine dining venue for dinner (reservations required, open 6-10 pm). The menu has signature dishes and fine wine selection.
“Silk Road” is an Asian dinner-only specialty restaurant (open 6-10 pm/reservations are recommended, with portside location). The Silk Road restaurant is a partnership with celebrity chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa. Its gourmet dishes are specially prepared by Nobu-trained master chefs.
“The Sushi Bar” (portside location) is a Japanese specialty dinner restaurant (reservations-only, 6-10 pm) – again via partnership with the Nobu restaurant chain. It serves traditional Japanese seafood (sushi and sashimi dishes) made by Nobu-trained chefs.
“Prego” is an Italian specialty restaurant for dinner only (open 6-10 pm/reservations-only, with starboard location). The Prego restaurant is a partnership between Crystal Cruises and the Piero Selvaggio restaurant chain (LA and Las Vegas). The Prego’s menu features signature dishes (antipasti, soups and salads, main courses) and fine wines.
The hallway area between the Saloon and the Prego restaurant serves as the ship’s Art Gallery (artworks on display available for purchase at wholesale prices).
“Computer University @ Sea” is a 24-hour open 25-seats capacity Internet computers room. It also hosts computer and Internet classes, with laptop computers available for hire (per day charge).
“The Studio” (portside) serves the company’s “Creative Learning” enrichment program. Activities include digital filmmaking, language lessons, Yamaha keyboard and piano lessons. All lessons are complimentary, with capacity up to 15 persons per 60 min class.
“Bridge Lounge” (starboard) is a 22-tables card playing room. It also hosts Bridge tournaments and lessons, and guest lectures.
Passenger-accessible decks are interconnected via 8x elevators (3x forward, 3x midship, 2x aft).
