Review of Disney Destiny deck 2 (Cabins-Kids)
Walt Disney Theatre (lower level 1 of 3, capacity 1274 seats, Magical Forest-themed entertainment lounge) is fitted with a Dolby Atmos (3D sound system) and offers live shows, aerial acrobatics performances, 3x grand-style productions (in the evenings), bingo, trivia games and 3D movies (during the day). There are two shows held each evening - at 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm. The Theater Lounge hosts 3 evening shows specifically designed for the Disney ship Destiny:
- "Disney Seas the Adventure" show (held on embarkation day and featuring all the Disney and Pixar characters)
- "Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular" (a comedy musical based on Disney's 1992-released musical fantasy film "Aladdin"/starring Robin Williams)
- "The Little Mermaid" (Broadway-style version with a reimagined script of Disney's 1989-released musical fantasy animation "The Little Mermaid")
The Oceaneer's "Club" and "Lab" facilities (ages 3-10) are connected, thus doubling the fun space. The "Oceaneer's Club" features the "Andy's Room" (with oversized Disney characters for kids to climb on) and the "Laugh Floor" (with its "laugh-o-meter" and Mike and Sully of "Monsters Inc"). The "Oceaneer's Lab" is maritime-themed, featuring an Animator's Studio and a small Sound Studio. The new Disney approach allows all kids ages 3-10 to access the same clubs with separate rooms and age-related activities.
The Oceaneer Club is currently not available on other Disney ships. Other kids clubs include Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Imagineering Lab, Small World Nursery (for toddlers 6-months to 3-years-old, with babysitting).
Cruise cabins from 2050 to 2640, which are in categories 11C (Standard Inside) and 9B (Deluxe Oceanview).
