Emerald Star deck plans

Emerald Star (2014-built) is the first of all six identically designed Emerald Waterways ships of the Star-class. The riverboat was followed by the sisterships Emerald Sky, Emerald Dawn, Emerald Sun, Emerald Destiny, Emerald Luna, and Emerald Astra.

Emerald Waterways (2014-established) is owned by the Australian river cruise and tours company Scenic Tours. Like the new Viking River Cruises longships, Emerald Waterways ships’ innovations make them a real alternative to the ocean ship cruise vacations. Emerald Waterways Star boat just adds more choices of sailing dates and itineraries for the aficionados of the European luxury river cruise ship travel – the all-inclusive style.

Emerald Star cruise ship deck plan shows a total of 91 staterooms for 180 passengers served by 52 crew/staff. Like most new European river cruise ships, Emerald Star features 4 passenger decks, indoor swimming pool/night cinema (covered with a sliding roof), Bar Lounge, Dining Room Restaurant, Gym, Spa (massages room), Beauty Salon, passenger-use bikes, 1 elevator (connecting all 3 cabin decks).

Emerald Waterways Star is an all-inclusive riverboat, with the following amenities included in the cruise fares:

• gratuities (both onboard and on shore excursions/tours)
• port taxes
• all transfers to and from the boat
• all shore excursions
• beverages (including tea, coffee, soft drinks, bottled water) and alcohol (beer and wine by the glass at lunch and dinner)
• Wi-Fi Internet access.

There is no special dress-code on the Star ship. Still, a smart casual dress code for dinner is recommended (allowing jeans, but not shorts/flip-flops). There are no formal nights on Emerald Waterways cruises.
