Emerald Star (2014-built) is the first of all six identically designed Emerald Waterways ships of the Star-class. The riverboat was followed by the sisterships Emerald Sky, Emerald Dawn, Emerald Sun, Emerald Destiny, Emerald Luna, and Emerald Astra.

Emerald Waterways Star is an all-inclusive riverboat, with the following amenities included in the cruise fares:

There is no special dress-code on the Star ship. Still, a smart casual dress code for dinner is recommended (allowing jeans, but not shorts/flip-flops). There are no formal nights on Emerald Waterways cruises.
