Deck layout and review
Review of MS Lady Diletta deck 3 (San Marco-Lobby-Lounge)
The bow-located Lido Terrace is an outdoor lounge (with a small seating capacity/3-seat tables) and wind-protected (by a wraparound glass wall). A stairway from the Terrace connects directly to the Restaurant (Rialto Deck / below) and to Sun Deck's Alfresco Lounge (above).
The fore-located Tintoretto Lounge and Bar is the riverboat's show lounge with floor-ceiling windows, comfortable seating, central dance floor, SkyLight (small glass roof cover). The Salon-Bar also serves the cruise company's onboard enrichment program and as entertainment offers live music performances, crew shows, playing cards, and board games, bingo, popular quizzes, skat tournaments, napkin folding lessons, themed dance parties in the evenings. The traditional Captain's Reception (cocktail party) is a formal event held in the Vista Lounge.
Upper Deck (San Marco) is the riverboat's Lobby Deck with midship-located Foyer (entrance hall), Reception Desk (24-hour assistance, information, purser services), Travel Desk (Plantours excursions information, onboard cruise booking), Boutique Shop, 24-hour Coffee and Tea station. From the entrance hall is accessed Tintoretto Lounge.
Aft is located the Canaletto Restaurant (Italian Bistro & Bar Lounge) that serves as an alternative casual restaurant with its own Bar. Canaletto has wraparound floor-ceiling (slide-opening) windows with stern views. The Italian restaurant is complimentary, but due to its small seating capacity, dinner reservations are required. Here are served early Breakfast, light Lunch, and Dinner. Weather permitting, Canaletto Lounge's floor-ceiling windows can be fully opened for alfresco dining.
Cruise cabins from 301 to 337, most of which are French Balcony staterooms (with floor-ceiling sliding windows opening to a railing). San Marco Deck also houses four Balcony Suites (midship-location, with a combination of French Balcony and a small step-out balcony) and two Junior Suites (aft location, with French balconies).
One Lift (midship-portside elevator) connects all cabin decks. All decks are interconnected via stairs (forward, midship and aft), including a grand staircase in the Atrium (between decks 2-3 / Rialto-San Marco).
