Review of MS Midnatsol deck 15 (Midnatsol deck8)
Panorama Lounge is 2-decks high, with floor-ceiling windows offering 180-degree scenery views on both levels.
Paradis Bar (located starboard /aft of the Atrium) has a cozy seating area served with drinks by Mysterier Bar's staff.
Mysterier Bar is decorated in green and blue, with floor-ceiling windows, and is one of the most popular places on the ship by night. The bar has a selection of Norway’s Aquavit liquors, (traditional Norwegian alcoholic beverages).
There is an Internet corner / Internet Cafe with 4 Internet computers (free of charge) and a printer.
The Information Center provides info on the ship’s daily activities, an “art guide” (for all the onboard artworks on display). The Info Center also serves the line’s program for booking Hurtigruten tours/excursions, among which are dog sledging, bus tours to small towns (embarkation in the next port along the Midnatsol itinerary), “Northern Lights” and “North Cape” themed excursions.
The Hamsun Room is decorated with wood-panels, paintings by Norwegian artist Kenneth Blom, and furnished with highback chairs and comfortable couches. This is a great venue to use free Wi-Fi onboard the ship.
The Library is well-stocked, with a collection of books in English and some popular board games. Windows here are also floor-ceiling.
MS Midnatsol deck 8 also has aft-located cruise cabins from U2-801 to MX-826, of which Outside staterooms category U (x14, of them 2 are connecting with MG-Suites), 10x Grand Suites (category MG) and 2x Owner’s Suites (MX-825 /portside, and MX-826 /starboard, both with aft location, and large private balconies).
