Review of MS Mstislav Rostropovich deck 1 (Onega-Lobby)
Ship’s Infirmary / Medical Facility is staffed by a resident physician.
Elevator access is to all decks (aft location) and there is a grand staircase in the Reception Lobby area.
The ship’s Atrium / Lobby area has Reception Desk (guest services, assistance, information), Director’s Office (shore excursions/tours and daily itinerary program information), Tea & Coffee corner (24/7, complimentary).
Gift Shop is also part of the Lobby. It sells mostly luxury jewelry and traditional hand-made Russian souvenirs, also special occasion gifts.
Conference Hall is the ship’s show lounge with stage for live performances and media presentations. It also serves the AmaWaterways onboard enrichment program. This venue hosts daily lectures related to the AmaKatarina itinerary, tours, and excursions. It also hosts traditional Russian and classical music concerts, Russian language classes.
The Library is part of the Conference Room. It also has playing cards and board games. Books mostly include travel guides and Russian culture and history related editions.
Onega Deck cruise cabins from 100 to 123 (total number is 22), of which Superior Deluxe (11x category D with a large non-opening window) and categories E (7x Standard) and F-forward (4x Picture Window).
Note: Staff and crew cabins, service areas (water and food supplies), and the ship’s Propulsion / Engine Room are located on Deck 0 below.
