Review of MS River Rhapsody deck 3 (Serenade)
The fore-located Bar Lounge features floor-ceiling wraparound windows (270-degree views) and offers comfortable seating (sofas and armchairs), dance floor, full-service Bar, Afternoon Tea service, Happy Hour (drinks with salty bar), daily drink specials (at ~6 pm), Tea-Coffee Station (24-hour, complimentary). Part of the Lounge (starboard) is the Pub.
In the midship-located Lobby are the boat's Reception Desk (24-hour guest services, itinerary information, tours booking), Library and Gift Shop.
The aft-located Restaurant is the ship's complimentary Dining Room with full seating capacity and open-seating configurations (4-6-8-seat dining tables). Buffet-style breakfast is served between 7-9 am (including an omelette station, daily specials, custom items /French toast, eggs Benedict, pancakes/ can be ordered from the waiters). The 2-hour lunch window varies, depending on the cruise itinerary and daily scheduled activities (onboard and ashore). Lunches are hybrid between buffet and made-to-order meals, including soup, local cuisine specialties, salad bar, sandwiches, pasta station, dessert buffet (ice cream bar). Upon request are available fast-food items (hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries). Dinner is waiter-served (between 7-9 pm) and 4-course, beginning with a cold appetizer and followed by hot appetizer (soup) and a choice of 3 entrees (meat, fish, vegetarian).
Adjacent to the Restaurant (aft) is the ship's Galley (kitchen and storage rooms for food and beverages).
Cruise cabins from 400 to 415, all of which are French Balcony staterooms in categories A and B.
All decks are interconnected via stairs. One Lift (midship-located passenger elevator) connects decks 2 and 3 only.
