Deck layout and review
Review of MS Thurgau Gold deck 3 (Upper-Cabins-Lounge)
The fore-located Panorama Salon is the boat's indoor Bar Lounge. The venue has comfortable seating and a small bow-located terrace (with limited seating). Here is also held the formal Captain's Cocktail Reception (welcome aboard event). The Bar Lounge also serves the cruise company's onboard enrichment program with live entertainment (crew show, cooking demos, local guest performances), daily quiz games, themed and dance nights (often with live music), language courses, lectures (folklore- or history-themed) about the visited region along the cruise itinerary route.
The midship-located Lobby Hall houses the Reception Desk (24-hour guest services and assistance), Tour Desk (Cruise Director, itinerary information, excursions booking), Gift Shop, and the ship's both entrances (eingang) - portside and starboard.
At the stern on Deck 3 is the Brasserie (specialty dinner restaurant) that doubles as a daily Cocktail Bar and evening Steakhouse (a la carte-priced).
Cruise cabins from 301 to 338 are all French Balcony staterooms (with sliding, floor-ceiling glass doors opening to a railing), including the boat's largest accommodations Gold Suites (midship location) and the rest are Oberdeck Deluxe (of which 2x Aft/hinten).
One Elevator (passenger Lift) interconnects decks 1-2-3 (Main-Middle-Upper). A Stairlift connects decks 3-4 (Upper-Sundeck).
