Review of MS Trollfjord deck 8 (Lounge)
Panorama Lounge is 2-decks high, with floor-ceiling windows offering 180-degree scenery views on both levels.
Fjord Bar (starboard /aft of the Atrium) is a comfortable seating area served with drinks by the Saga Fjord Bar.
Saga Fjord Bar has floor-ceiling windows and is one of the most popular “night” places on the ship. The bar has a wide selection of Norway’s Aquavit liquors (traditional Norwegian beverages).
The Fjord Hall / Internet Cafe has 4 Internet computers (free of charge) and a printer.
The Information Center provides info on daily activities on board, an “art guide” (for all the onboard artworks on display), and also serves the line’s program for booking Hurtigruten tours/excursions. Among those are dog sledding, bus tours to small towns (embarkation in the next port along the Trollfjord itinerary), “Northern Lights” and “North Cape”” themed excursions.
The Espolin Johnson Lounge is furnitured with highback chairs and comfortable couches. This is a great venue to use the free Wi-Fi on the ship.
The well-stocked Library has a collection of books in English, popular board games, and offers floor-ceiling windows views.
Deck 8 has aft-located cruise cabins from U2-801 to MX-826, of which Outside category U (x14, 2 of them connecting with the MG-Suites), 10x Grand Suites (MG) and 2x Owner’s Suites (MX-825 /portside, & MX-826 /starboard, both aft, and with large private balcony views).
