Review of MS VIVA One deck 3 (Diamond-Lounge-Bistro)
The fore-located Panorama Lounge and Bar is the riverboat's show lounge with floor-ceiling windows, comfortable seating (tables, sofas, armchairs), dance floor, grand piano (for live performances in the afternoons and evenings) and is served by its own Bar. Onboard entertainment includes daily live music performances (by a resident pianist), cooking demonstrations, quiz games, bingo, crew show, themed dance nights, enrichment lectures and media presentations (related to the cruisetour itinerary's destinations, ports, excursions).
From Panorama Lounge is accessed the bow-located Lido Terrace - an outdoor lounge (with limited seating) which is wind-protected (by a wraparound glass wall). Two stairways from the Terrace connect directly to Riverside Restaurant (below on deck 2) and to the Alfresco Lounge (above on deck 4).
Diamond Deck is the ship's Lobby Deck with midship-located Foyer (entrance hall with two entrances - portside and starboard), Reception Desk (24-hour guest services and assistance), Travel Desk (Tour Office for VIVA's Cruise Director, excursions information and booking), Boutique (Gift Shop), 24-hour Coffee and Tea station. From the Lobby is accessed Panorama Lounge.
The aft-located Viva's Bistro is an alternative casual restaurant (complimentary) with its own Bar. At Viva's Bistro are served lunch and dinner (including themed buffets). During the day, the venue operates as a bar lounge. Viva's Bistro has a small terrace (wraparound balcony) with stern views. Due to its small seating capacity, the restaurant requires dinner reservations.
From Viva's Bistro (via two outdoor staircases) is accessed the Sundeck's pool area (with Jacuzzi / spa pool).
Cruise cabins from 301 to 335, all of which are French Balcony staterooms (with floor-ceiling sliding windows opening to a railing). Diamond Deck also houses four Balcony Suites (midship-location) and four Junior Suites (midship aft location) which are bigger-sized but also with French balconies.
One Lift (midship-portside elevator) connects all cabin decks. All decks are interconnected via stairs (forward, midship and aft), including a grand staircase in the Atrium (between decks 2-3 / Ruby-Diamond).
