Review of MS VistaFlamenco deck 2 (Middle-Lobby-Restaurant)
The fore-located Panorama Restaurant is a complimentary Dining Room for buffet-style Breakfasts and waiter-served Lunches and Dinners.
The well-stocked breakfast buffet (7-9 am) offers various breads-rolls, eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, dairy products, yoghurts, fresh fruits, muesli varieties. Lunch buffet's opening hours are cruise tour itinerary-based (synchronized with ports and shore excursions). At lunch are offered 1 fish dish, 1 meat dish, hot side dishes, 1 soup, salad buffet, dessert station. On embarkation day, coffee-tea-cakes are available in front of the Restaurant, but for just about 30 min. On days without tours, cake with tea-coffee is served in the Lounge. On tour days, the offers are limited to coffee-tea and midnight snacks (canapes).
The 4-course dinner is table-served and includes 2 appetizers, 1 soup, 1 main course (pre-order in the afternoon is required), 1 dessert. Main course choices always include 1 meat and 1 fish dish. Dietary requirements, light diets, and vegetarian preferences are catered for. Waiting staff (mostly from Eastern European countries) is German-speaking, well-trained, friendly and helpful.
Open bar and table drinks like draft beers, house wines, soft drinks (sodas, juices, mineral water), tea and coffee (from 8 am to 12-midnight) are provided complimentary (included in the cruise fares). Dishes for special diets (gluten-free, lactose-free, diabetic, etc) are provided complimentary upon request. Special dietary requirements, food allergies, and intolerances must be notified in advance. The traditional Captain's Dinner (gala dinner menu) is a formal event held in the Restaurant.
In the Foyer (lobby area lower level 1 of 2) are the two ship entrances (portside and starboard), Reception Desk (24-hour guest services - assistance, luggage, purser, information), and Library (reading lounge with books, puzzles, board games).
Cruise cabins from 201 to 248, all of which are French Balcony staterooms (with floor-ceiling sliding windows opening to a railing) in categories GLK-MD2-MDA (Double Cabins) and MD1 (Single Cabins).
Aft on Middle Deck is located the ship's Engine Room and Officers Quarters.
One Stairlift (midship) connects all cabin decks. All decks are interconnected via stairs (forward, midship and aft).
A stairway from the Restaurant connects directly to the Bar Lounge (Upper Deck) and from there to Sun Deck's Lounge (outdoor / roof-covered).
