The MSC Orchestra deck plan shows a total of 1,275 staterooms accommodating 2,550 passengers (max capacity 3,060), served by 1,050 crew. The vessel has 16 decks (13 accessible to passengers, 8 with cabins), 6 dining venues (restaurants and food bars), 16 lounges and bars, 3 swimming pools, 8 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpool hot tubs), and 21 elevators.

"MSC for Me" Digital Innovation Program 2017-2018
All MSC cruise ships are being fitted with thousands of connectivity points, digital access points, iBeacons (Bluetooth), and hundreds of interactive digital screens throughout the fleet. All staterooms are equipped with RFID (radio-frequency identification) and NFC (near-field communication) access technologies.
The program is implemented fleetwide, with its first full deployment on MSC Meraviglia. The ship, launched in June 2017, was outfitted with 114 interactive screens, 244 info screens, 31 virtual screens, 81 video-wall monitors, 2,244 cabins with NFC door access, 3,050 iBeacons, 700 WAPs (wireless access points), and 1,200 CCTV cameras.
Key features of MSC’s digitalization program include:
- Facial recognition technology and interactive smart bracelets developed with Samsung.
- Digital Concierge app – allows passengers to book onboard services, restaurants, and shore excursions in real time, providing 24-hour access to MSC support staff.
- Capture – a virtual reality tool enabling passengers to preview itineraries, create personal photo galleries, and share content online.
- Organizer – a mobile cruise planning tool offering detailed information and allowing pre-cruise and onboard reservations (tours, theater seats, dining, etc.).
- Navigation – an interactive wayfinding map providing directions and real-time information (events, opening hours). It also enables real-time monitoring of children via bracelets.
- TailorMade – a digital advisor offering personalized recommendations based on guest preferences (gaming, culinary, entertainment, recreation, etc.).
Passengers may opt out of all offered Internet of Things (IoT) services at any time.
