MV Magellan Explorer deck 2 plan (Expedition-Crew-Hospital)

Clinic (Infirmary) is the ship's medical facility served by doctors on 24-hour duty. The doctor can be contacted through the Reception (on deck 2) or any crew member.

Expedition Boarding and Mudroom. The midship-located Mud Room is utilized for passenger embarkation and disembarkation via Zodiac boats (large-capacity, inflatable speedboats/expedition landing craft).

Expedition Gear Storage Room has lockers for jackets, boots, snorkeling equipment. In warmer destinations, the cruise ship provides complimentary snorkeling gear (wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins) for passenger use during the Zodiac boat expedition.

Crew Lounge (aka Mess Hall) and expedition crew cabins are located aft. The rest staff and crew cabins are located forward.

Cruise ship's machinery (engines, propulsion), fuel tanks, sewage-treatment plant and water tanks (ballast, and freshwater storage) and located on Service Deck 1.
