Review of MV Ventus Australis deck 4 (Cabo de Hornos-Cabins-Bridge)
The fore-located Navigation Bridge/Wheelhouse is open to passengers at most times. Adjacent (starboard) is the Captain's Suite/officers' quarters.
Sky Lounge is an aft-located observation lounge with plenty of chairs, large panoramic windows, and self-service drinks (throughout the day). Sky Lounge also hosts daily lectures and port talks themed on shore excursions (information and instructions), The lounge has a large TV for movies.
For early risers, between 4-6 am, at the Sky Bar are available self-serve beverages (coffee, tea, juice, hot chocolate), plus a selection of pastries and cookies.
Aft on deck 4 there is a small open-air space (outdoor deck) for viewing.
Cruise cabins from 407 to 434, most of which are Standard staterooms (category AAA) plus two of the ship's four Superior Cabins (located midship, numbers 421-portside and 422-starboard). "Superior" is a family cabin category with optional triple occupancy (3rd bed / single is available upon request).
