Marella Discovery deck 9 plan (Spa-Lido-Pools-Sundeck)

Islands Lido Restaurant (forward location) is the ship’s Lido-buffet restaurant (capacity 550 seats) open for Breakfast (7-10am), Lunch (12-3pm), Afternoon Tea (3-5pm), Dinner (6.30-9:30pm) and Late Night Snacks (9:30-12pm). Lido Buffet is complimentary and has various food stations, among which Asian, pizza, pasta, seafood, burgers/sandwiches, grill, salads bar, desserts bar, 24-hour coffee/tea bar. On themed nights are offered different cuisine specialties.

Main Pool area has 1 kids pool, 4 whirlpools, a large sunbathing area with loungers and deck chairs. It is served by an alfresco semi-circular bar (Deck Bar / Pool Bar) that opens at 9:00 a.m. Among the live entertainment offered here are cooking demonstrations, quizzes, deck parties.

Outdoor Movie Screen (Movies by Moonlight) is the ship’s outdoor cinema with a large-size LED screen for daily live shows and sporting events, and movie projections in the evenings; there are 2 viewings nightly (at 7:30 and 10:00 p.m.), films tend towards family-friendly blockbusters; hot chocolate and popcorn are available from the pool bar for a fee; blankets are provided.

Snack Bar (called Snack Shack) is a complimentary deli restaurant, also serving the outdoor pool deck area during the day. Snack Bar is open for Breakfast (7-10 am), Lunch (12-noon - 6:30 pm) and Late Night Snacks (9:30-12 pm). Its menu has grill items, including burgers, quesadillas, nachos. The bar provides popcorn on movie nights.

Solarium (renamed to “The Veranda”) is an adults-only relaxation area (retractable glass-roof covered) with 1 swimming pool (indoor), 2 Whirlpools, tennis tables, extensive sunbathing area with padded loungers. The whole area is covered with a glass roof protecting it from inclement weather.

Boutique Shop sells luxury Spa cosmetics and beauty products.

Oceans Spa & Gym is the ship’s Wellness Centre, consisting of Sauna Room, Steam Room, Treatment Rooms (for massages), Beauty Salon (manicure/pedicure/barber services), Relaxation Area. The Spa is open 8 am - 9 pm. The Gym (Marella fleet’s largest) is open between 6 am - 10 pm. It has a separate Aerobic Studio for classes.

• Since November 2022, Marella UK (via partnership with OneSpaWorld Holdings/health and wellness company) provides ocean-inspired wellness products and services on all its ships. The range of OneSpaWorld's services includes Ocean Body Treatments (massages and polishes), Ocean Facial, Ocean Salon Services.
• On Marella ships, OneSpaWorld uses premium beauty brands like Elemis, L'Oreal, Kerastase.
• The wellness brands owned by OneSpaWorld include Mandara Spa, Bliss Spa, Chavana Spa, Glow Spa.

Cafe (deli area) serves the Spa complex with drinks (including fresh juices) and light snacks (healthy food menu).

Sports Deck is an aft-location outdoor area with tennis tables (hosts daily tennis tournaments).

Following drydock 2021 refurbishment, the cruise ship now has "The Glass House" - a redesigned (beach club-style) aft pool deck with an indoor swimming pool and an a-la-carte-priced restaurant. By this refurbishment project, the entire Sun Deck was revamped and redesigned by adding new cabana-style day beds, premium garden furniture (sun loungers, 4-seat dining tables, sofas, deckchairs). The swimming pool's tiles were changed, as well as the wall coverings, all the outdoor deck flooring, new lighting was installed (with different mood lights in the evenings). The Glass House also offers a-la-carte dining with two menus - deli-style food (during the day) and tapas-style menu when in the evenings transforms into a casual restaurant.

The Glass House Restaurant features a glass ceiling ensuring plenty of natural light at the all-day eatery, open for breakfast (7-10.30 am) serving a Continental buffet and juices. Sandwiches and salads are on offer for most of the day (11 am - 6 pm). The free option for dinner (6:30-9:30 pm) includes a choice of sharing platter, a selection of Spanish-style tapas, as well as a pizza with a variety of toppings.
