National Geographic Islander 2 (1989-built as “MegaStar Taurus”, last refurbished in 2022 March, last refurbishment as "Crystal Esprit" in 2015) is a top-luxury superyacht operated by Crystal Yacht Cruises in the period 2015-2021. This small cruise ship was ordered under Crystal’s new owners/parent company (since 2015) GHK-Genting Hong Kong Corporation, and since 2021 is owned by Lindblad Expeditions and operated in the Galapagos Islands. The vessel allows near-coast cruising and access to even the smallest ports, harbors, rivers, islands and cays that are absolutely inaccessible for bigger-sized vessels.
