Review of Carnival Adventure deck 5 (Cabins-Dining1-Shops1)

The Atrium's lower level (1 of 3) houses a small Lobby Lounge (midship-starboard, with a stage for live performances/entertainment), Cherry on Top (candy shop), and Level Up Arcade. The Lobby is served by Lilly's Bar, Charlie's Bar and Avalon Cafe.

Waterfront Restaurant is a complimentary Dining Room furnished in neutral colors (open for breakfast 7:30-9:30 am, lunch 12-1 pm and dinner 5-9 pm). The menu for breakfast is straight out of a Sydney cafe. For lunch, guests can expect salads, soups, pasta, chicken pho, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, fish, cheesecake, pies, fresh fruit, and cheese plates. Dinner offers include seared ahi tuna, ocean trout, lamb shanks, pork chops, chili chicken wings, vegetable moussaka, curry, ravioli, salads, pavlova, chocolate rolls, trifle, fruit and cheese plates. Tables can be reserved for dinner.

Carnival Adventures provides information on Carnival cruise tours and excursions (sponsored by the line and offered for each port on the current itinerary), also planning and booking services.

Cherry on Top (open between 4 – 10:30 pm) is a Carnival signature shop selling bulk candies by the oz (mix and match, sugar-free, assortments), confections (lollipops, sweet apples, truffles, chocolate deep cheesecakes and pretzels, cupcakes, fudge, cookies /and sugar-free). Cherry on Top also sells ladies' and kids' apparel (bathrobes, hoodies, lounge pants, tank tops), balloons, flowers, Carnival Greeting Cards, shower/spa items. The shop also provides formalwear rentals available only for pre-cruise ordering (not on board).

Marquee Theater (level 1 of 3) 3-decks high, big-capacity lounge with a stage for large-scale show productions in the evenings. The theatre features full audio-visual staging. The main entertainment is held here twice per night, at 6:30 pm and 8:45 pm. On other nights, there might be 3 music shows, or comedians, magicians, game shows. On some mornings, The Marquee is used for future cruise talks and lectures, and in the afternoon for Snowball Jackpot Bingo. Entertainment options here include music & dance shows by the theater’s staff, and magic and stand-up comedy acts by guest entertainers. During the day, the Marquee theatre also hosts trivia quizzes.

Cruise cabins from 5201 to 5337, of which Porthole (category PT), Inside (category 4A), and the rest are Oceanview (categories 6A and 6B).
