Deck layout and review
Review of Quark Ultramarine deck 6 (Cabins-Bridge)
Fore-located are the Navigation Bridge (called Wheelhouse on smaller ships and riverboats) and the adjacent Captain's Suite and officers quarters. The Wheelhouse is operated with an open-bridge policy that allows passengers to visit the facility during the cruise and observe how the Captain (officers on duty) navigate the vessel. The Captain and Bridge officers will restrict access to the Wheelhouse during port arrivals and departures, and also during times of emergencies and complicated navigation. When visiting the Bridge, passengers are advised to keep noise to a minimum as to not distract the watch officers from doing their jobs efficiently. Eating, drinking and smoking in this room is forbidden.
Cruise cabins from 601 to 638, most of which are with step-out balconies (categories Balcony Suite, Deluxe Balcony Suite, Terrace Suite, Owner's Suite #617, Ultra Suite #619) excepting only the Solo Panorama staterooms (portside location) which are with windows.
Two Lifts (passenger elevators) connect all decks except Helideck (deck 8). All decks are interconnected via stairs (forward, midship and aft) including interior and exterior staircases.
