Review of Queen Isabel deck 3 (Upper)
Main Lounge & Bar is an indoor observation and show lounge with comfortable seating (sofas and chairs), dance floor, full-service bar, and stage for the live evening entertainment. In the evenings, here are offered live music performances by the resident duo (pianist/singer) and by local guests (post-dinner show). During the day, Main Lounge hosts the Uniworld Cruises’ enrichment program, which includes local Douro wines tastings, cooking demonstrations, and guest lectures (themed food and wine, art, music, history, culture, etc). A traditional pre-dinner event here is the Uniworld Cruise Director’s talks. They offer information and tips about the next-day scheduled excursions (complimentary) and optional land tours (cost extra).
Main Lounge also doubles as an alternative dining venue, serving early breakfast (6:30 – 7:30 am), light lunch (1 – 2 pm), and also Afternoon Tea (4 – 4:30 pm).
Outside Bar Area is an open-air seating area (capacity 24 seats /6 tables), served by the Lounge’s bar. By the Bar, there is a small Library with popular novels, Portugal and Span travel guides, some Nature books.
In the Deck 3’s Lobby area is located the Reception Desk. It provides 24-hour guest services (assistance, information, Spa reservations, purser services).
Boutique Shop in the Lobby sells special occasion gifts (luxury jewelry, perfumes), Uniworld logo merchandise, and Douro River cruise itinerary-based souvenirs and other local products (incl wine glasses).
Upper Deck cruise cabins from 300 to 321, all of which are balcony Suite accommodations in categories JS-Junior Suite and S-Suite (each with a full, glass-enclosed veranda).
