Review of SS Antoinette deck 4 (Princess)
Salon du Grand Trianon is the boat’s Main Lounge & Bar. The Grand Trianon Lounge has a dance floor, full-service bar, and stage for the evening entertainment program. In the evenings are offered live music performances by the resident duo (pianist/singer) and also by local guests. Trianon Lounge hosts the Uniworld Cruises’ enrichment program, which includes cooking demonstrations and guest lectures (themed food and wine, art and music, culture, architecture, etc). A traditional pre-dinner event here is the Cruise Director’s talks. They offer information and tips about the next-day scheduled Uniworld excursions (complimentary) and optional tours (cost extra) ashore.
Here is the second 24-hour complimentary tea/coffee station (with cookies and candies).
“Swimming Pool” (aft location) is an indoor heated-water pool. The facility is glass-enclosed (transparent walls and roof). The pool’s aft location gives the Antoinette ship an operational advantage. Its weight creates mass in the boat’s rear section, where vibrations tend to be a problem, thus helping for a super-quiet ride.
Serenity River Spa (starboard massage room with panoramic windows) is adjacent to the pool room. There are also a portside-located Juice Bar and Showers Room.
Princesse Deck cruise cabins from 400 to 431, all of which are open-air full balcony staterooms in categories C1-Balcony, S-Suite with balcony, and RS-Royal Suite (cabin #400 /portside location). S-Suite cabin #403 has a fixed frame queen bed (non-convertible to twins).
