Review of SS La Venezia deck 4 (Sun)
Navigation Bridge (called “Wheelhouse” on riverboats) is passenger accessible and telescopic (can be lowered for passing under low bridges). There is a bike station (adjacent to the Wheelhouse) with complimentary bicycles available for passengers on Uniworld shore excursions, town tours, or individual land tours. All bicycles have locks, helmets are provided on request.
Sky Lounge (Sienna Salon) is a conservatory-type Cafe (indoor-outdoor lounge) with retractable roof and glass walls, live plants, indoor and outdoor seating. Depending on the weather, the whole structure can be opened or closed. Sienna Salon Lounge doubles as an alternative dining venue with waiter service and a light food menu - oven-baked pizzas, pasta, salads, soups, sandwiches. The sun deck’s lounge also serves brunches and cocktail parties.
Sun Deck is a large outdoor area accessible only by stairs. It has three retractable awnings (midship shaded seating zones) that can be lowered when the boat passes under low bridges. This is the ship’s open-air relaxation area furnished with padded sun loungers, deckchairs, and small square tables. There is a deck games zone with Shuffleboard and Giant Chess Set. The sundeck is also the ship’s only smoking allowed area, as well as its best vantage point to enjoy the unobstructed countryside views along the cruise itinerary route. Weather permitting, here are held morning exercise classes (complimentary, including Zumba, Yoga, Aerobics).
One Lift (passenger elevator) connects all cabin decks (1-2-3). A stairlift links decks 3 and 4.
