Scenic Azure deck 4 plan (Sun-Pool)

The Sun Deck is accessible only by stairs. This is the best vantage point to enjoy the 360-degree countryside panorama along the Scenic Azure itinerary route.

Navigation Bridge (on river cruise ships called “Wheelhouse”) is passenger accessible and telescopic. It can be lowered for passing under low bridges.

Traditionally for Douro River cruise ships, the Azure’s top deck features a small “vitality pool”. It combines a plunge pool and a jet pool (for resistance swimming).

Riverview Terrace is a midship-aft observation deck – covered with a large awning and furnished with wicker chairs and wooden tables. Like the Bridge, the awning is retractable and can be lowered when the boat passes under low bridges. This is also an alfresco dining venue served by dedicated staff from the River Cafe below.

“Sun Deck” is a vast outdoor sunbathing and relaxation area with luxury loungers. It also has a bike station with electric-assisted bicycles. Bikes are complimentary, so passengers can use them on all guided land excursions and tours, or on individual tours onshore.
