Scenic Jasper deck 4 plan (Sun-Pool)

Sun Deck is accessible only by stairs. This is the best vantage point to enjoy the unobstructed countryside panorama along the Scenic Jasper itinerary route.

Navigation Bridge on river cruise ships is called “Wheelhouse”. The Bridge is passenger accessible and telescopic (can be lowered for passing under low bridges).

Riverview Terrace is a forward-location observation deck furnished with wicker chairs, wooden tables, some umbrella coverage. This is also an alternative dining venue served by dedicated staff from the River Cafe (on Diamond Deck below).

Sun Deck is a vast outdoor seating area with tables, fabric chairs, sun loungers. There are three retractable awnings (shaded seating zones for relaxation) that can be lowered when the boat passes under low bridges.

MS Scenic Jasper is among the few European riverboats that have a heated swimming pool on their top decks. This is actually a small size resistance swimming pool located right after the Wheelhouse. The ship’s sundeck also has a Walking Track (used between 8 am - 10 pm), Giant Chess Set, and a bike station (with 30 electric bicycles). Bikes are complimentary, so passengers can use them on all guided excursions and tours, or on their individual tours onshore.
