Viking Buri (built 2014) is one of the new generation Viking River Cruises longships on Saone and Rhone. This France river cruise ship is named after the Norse mythology’s first god. Buri has no mother and father but was created by Audumbla – a giant cow who shaped him out of a salty block. His son is Bor (Burr) who together with his wife Bestla created the gods Odin, Vili and Ve. The name Buri in Old Norse means “producer”.
Viking Buri cruise ship deck plan has a total of 95 staterooms for 190 passengers served by 50 crew/staff, 4 passenger decks, 1 glass elevator (connecting Main-Upper decks only). The Viking longship Buri has no gym, pool/whirlpool or spa. Guests may access health & spa facilities at luxury hotels along the Buri’s itinerary route.
