Viking Eir (built 2015) is one of the new generation Viking Cruises longships (currently under construction). This river cruise ship is named after the Norse mythology’s powerful goddess of healing Eir. She rides into battles to tend to the sick and wounded. and she is the valkyrie (“chooser of the slain”) who decides which soldiers live and which die.
Viking Eir cruise ship deck plan has a total of 95 staterooms for 190 passengers served by 50 crew/staff, 4 passenger decks, 1 glass elevator (connecting Main-Upper decks only). The Viking longship Eir has no gym, pool/whirlpool or spa. Guests may access health & spa facilities at luxury hotels along the Eir’s itinerary route.
