Viking Embla (built 2012) is one of the new generation Viking Cruises longships. This river cruise ship is named after the Norse mythology’s first woman and mother of the human race. Embla and the first man Ask (Askr) were both created out of 2 tree trunks by Odin and his brothers from goddess Bestla – Vili and Ve. Then the gods gave them this world (called Midgard) as a home-place to live in.
Viking Embla cruise ship deck plan has a total of 95 staterooms for 190 passengers served by 50 crew/staff, 4 passenger decks, 1 glass elevator (connecting Main-Upper decks only).
