Observation Lounge & Bar area has large floor-ceiling panoramic windows, comfortable seating, and its own lounge bar. Entertainment options here are multimedia lectures and watching movies (drop-down screen). Depending on the visited regions along the Viking Emerald itinerary, this lounge also hosts an extensive enrichment program with Chinese culture- and history related lectures, Chinese language basics (keywords, popular phrases), multimedia presentations and discussions (themes such as “Great Wall”, “Terra Cotta Warriors”, museums, etc). Special activities here are the tastings of local delicacies, Eastern European wines, cheeses, etc.
