Viking Lif (built 2014) is one of the new generation Viking Cruises longships. This river cruise ship is named after Lif – the Norse mythology’s mortal woman, which name means “life”. Lif and Lifthrasir (male) were the only survivors after the world’s end (called by the Vikings “Ragnarok”). Saved by hiding in the magical forest Hodmimir, Lif and Lifthrasir lived on dew and repopulated the new earth after the old one was completely destroyed by fire.
Viking Lif cruise ship deck plan has a total of 95 staterooms for 190 passengers served by 50 crew/staff, 4 passenger decks, 1 glass elevator (connecting Main-Upper decks only). The Viking longship Lif has no gym, pool/whirlpool or spa. Guests may access health & spa facilities at luxury hotels along the Lif’s itinerary route.
