Review of Viking Polaris deck 6 (Suites-Bridge-Observation)
The fore-located Navigation Bridge/Wheelhouse and the adjacent Captain/s Suite and officers' quarters are inaccessible to passengers.
All cabins on Deck 6 are forward-located Suites in categories OS (Owner's Suite with Terrace Garden/portside) and the rest are ES (Explorer Suite with Shared Balcony / Explorer's Suite Garden, rooms 6001-6003-6005-6007).
Open Deck is an outdoor passenger-accessible area for strolling, wildlife viewing, coastal scenery observation. The space is furnished with premium garden furniture (padded and cushioned rattan sofas and armchairs) and small round coffee tables and is decorated with live plants. There are also a small number of 4-seat dining tables and padded premium-wood loungers for sunbathing.
Midship are the ship's funnels/smokestacks.
Aft is the retractable glass roof covering the Aquavit Terrace (indoor-outdoor sundeck lounge) on Deck 5.
Lifts and staircase access - four Atrium Lifts (glass-walled elevators) connect all decks. A 5th Lift (aft) interconnects all cabin decks.
