Review of Voyager Of The Seas deck 3 (Studio B-Cabins)
Royal Theater (fka La Scala Theatre, balcony level 2 of 3, capacity 1347 seats) is the ship’s complimentary main show lounge for grand-style musical and show productions in the evenings. The theater presents 2 stage productions per night (early at 8 pm and late at 10 pm /matching the assigned dining room sittings). They feature singing and dancing, West End musicals, acrobatic performances, tribute acts, magician shows, adult comedy acts, popular game shows. The theater has its own bar for refreshments (waiters walk around and offer bar service prior to show). During the day, here are held enrichment lectures and bingo sessions. Royal Caribbean’s Snowball Jackpot Bingo offers generous payouts (final jackpots are in the several thousand dollars). Among the bingo prizes are also free cabin upgrades and even free cruises.
Studio B Lounge (capacity 907 seats) is the upper level of the indoor ice-skating complex.
RCTV (radio-communications-television-video, Internet) is a control center also producing the Royal Caribbean video channel programming. The channel is part of the interactive TV system in all cruise accommodations. It plays videos from onboard-recorded shows, contests, special events (parties, parades, etc), movies, current itinerary/cruise excursions-related RCI videos. The RCTV room has a window for passengers to see the ship’s media control area with monitors and other equipment.
Focus (Photo Gallery & Shop) provides photo and video services by the ship’s professional photographers. The Gallery has displayed both guest-made and professional photos (available for purchasing) and a photo kiosk. The Shop sells duty-free equipment (cameras, accessories, memory cards, etc).
Main Dining Room (menu, fka Sapphire Dining Room, aft location, level 1 of 3, capacity 544 seats) is a complimentary restaurant serving Breakfast (between 7-9.30 am), Brasserie 30 Lunch (12-2 pm / on seadays only) and Dinner (with 2 fixed seatings – at 6 or 8:30 pm). Here is also served DreamWorks Characters Breakfast (at surcharge, reservations are required).
Cruise cabins from 3240 to 3728, of which Inside (category 6V) and Oceanview staterooms (Oceanview staterooms (categories 1N, 2N, 3N and 8N with round-shaped porthole windows).
