Cruise ships will once again return to Guernsey Island (St Peter Port, Channel Islands UK) in April. It is for the first time since 2019.
A total of 86 vessels are currently scheduled to dock at Guernsey's St Peter Port in summer 2022.
The announcement comes as the island lifted all of its remaining COVID restrictions today, February 17, including removing the restrictions on the borders.
Cruise ships will be testing all guests upon arrival at St Peter Port before they depart.
Guernsey Ports and Visit Guernsey are currently asking cruise operators and shipping agents to ensure that all passengers are aware of the strong recommendation to do a lateral flow test prior to coming ashore.
The first ship, Hanseatic Spirit, is scheduled to arrive on April 15th.
