Princess Cruises is the next major cruise line to confirm that it is participating in USA's CDC updated program for ships operating in American waters through March 31, 2022, and is advising passengers of the following changes:
- Effective with voyages departing March 1, masks onboard will be recommended but not required. However, there may be certain venues/events where masks will be required.
- Additional flexibility for pre-cruise testing requirements will soon become available. Details are to be posted to the Cruise Health section of Princess' website.
Princess Cruises will continue to meet the standard of vaccinated voyages.
John Padgett, President of Princess Cruises said the company had proven cruise vacations were safe and healthy for their passengers and teams.
