RCI-Royal Caribbean’s newbuild Wonder of the Seas arrived in the United States on Sunday evening, February 20, ahead of her official debut on March 4 in Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades, Florida).
Vacationers can benefit from new adventures along with returning favorites across 8 unique neighborhoods. Highlights feature the 8th neighborhood, a first for Royal Caribbean, named the Suite Neighborhood; Wonder Playscape, a new interactive outdoor play area; and new southern restaurant and bar The Mason Jar, offering southern staples and twists on classic dishes for brunch, dinner and the late night.
Signature experiences also include the tallest slide at sea, The Ultimate Abyss; rock-climbing walls; FlowRider surf simulator; and the Central Park neighborhood lined with 20,000+ real plants.
The ultimate experience will first set sail on 7-night sailings to the Caribbean and Royal Caribbean’s private island Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, out of Port Everglades prior to heading to Barcelona (Spain) and Civitavecchia-Rome (Italy) to kick off summer vacations in the Mediterranean in May 2022.
In November, Wonder OTS returns to explore the Caribbean and The Bahamas from her year-round home, Port Canaveral FL.
