A passenger aboard an NCL-Norwegian Cruise Lines' ship jumped overboard close to the coast of Mexico, while the liner was en route back to Port NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana USA), and he hasn't yet been found.
According to a statement from NCL Public Relations, a 31-year-old man onboard Norwegian Breakaway jumped off the liner on March 11 while the ship was passing by Costa Maya (Quintana Roo Mexico, Riviera Maya).
The statement reported that authorities had been immediately notified, and a search had begun. Officials said the man had not been found yet.
An NCL spokesperson said their thoughts and prayers were with the individual's loved ones during that difficult time.
