MSC Cruises announced that the company had become the official Global Partner of Formula 1 for the upcoming 2022 season.
The new multi-year deal will see the Swiss-based MSC and its advanced liners present at select F1 Grand Prix weekends, thus enabling vacationers to complement the high-end experience of the car race.
With the unique partnership, MSC will leverage Formula 1’s growing global fanbase to showcase an extensive offering of the cruise experience and bring the thrill to MSC Cruises' audience with voyages to 100+ countries and host passengers from 185+ nationalities.

"It is a perfect partnership with both of us focussed on delivering the best experience for our fans and customers globally and combining entertainment, luxury, and service. We are both committed to sustainable solutions, and MSC’s insight and expertise perfectly complement our global offering and will continue to enhance our brand.”
Pier Francesco Vago, MSC’s Executive Chairman added there was a strong shared ambition between them and F1 as they were "both committed to investing in research to accelerate the development and adoption of next-generation technologies – both maritime and environmental in our case – to build the future of our industries in a sustainable way.”
