The USA's agency CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) dropped its risk assessment of cruise travel.
For 2+ years now, health officials were warning people not to go on a cruise but, considering where the United States is in the crisis and since COVID cases on cruise vessels have been dropping over the past weeks, the CDC decided to give it the green light.
According to the agency, it's better to be vaccinated prior to going on a cruise.
Tourists should also research how each company handles public health measures.
“CDC is removing the COVID-19 Cruise Ship Travel Health Notice.
“Travelers will make their own risk assessment when choosing to travel on a cruise ship, much like they do in all other travel settings.”
