Family cruise company RCI-Royal Caribbean is looking for the Godmother of the world’s largest cruise ship, Wonder of the Seas.
The search began on Friday, May 6, on TikTok.
U.S. users of the video-sharing platform can take part in the #SearchForWonderMom contest via nominating a mom inspiring those around them "to discover, wonder and make memories." The call for submissions is open through May 16, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
The winner will be announced this summer on Royal Caribbean’s TikTok.
Wonder OTS' Godmother will have the honour of bestowing a blessing of safekeeping on the cruise ship, her crew and the millions of passengers who will sail in the years to come during the naming ceremony in Port Canaveral FL in December.
The honoree and their family will be able to set sail on an exclusive voyage to the line’s private island destination in The Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay, which features 13 waterslides (of which the tallest in North America, Daredevil’s Peak), private overwater cabanas at the Coco Beach Club, and the sky-high helium balloon adventure, Up, Up & Away.
Also in store for the Wonder Mom and their loved ones is a vacation, including a 7-night Caribbean cruise onboard Wonder OTS in the one-of-a-kind Ultimate Family Suite, 3 nights in a 5-star hotel before the voyage, first-class flights, and up to US$1,000 in spending money.
4 finalists can enjoy all Wonder OTS has to offer on a 7-night sailing in a balcony stateroom for up to 4 guests.
Entry Guidelines include:
