Passengers sailing aboard Silversea’s ship Silver Whisper arrived in Copenhagen (Denmark) on May 22, marking the conclusion of the "Tale of Tales World Cruise" which is the only ultra-luxury world voyage to have operated in 2022.
Roberto Martinoli (Silversea’s President & CEO) and Barbara Muckermann (Chief Commercial Officer) bid farewell to passengers on May 18th, at a special gala dinner at Oslo’s Gamle Logen, celebrating the end of the hugely successful voyage.
Over 138 days, passengers discovered a total of 62 destinations in 30 different countries across 6 continents, sailing from 65° south to 65° north and taking in contrasting destinations such as Antarctica and Iceland, South Africa and Turkey, and South Georgia and Seychelles.
Following strong demand, Silversea’s world voyages for 2023 & 2024 are fully booked, and the line will soon share details on its global 2025 sailing.
Introduced in brief by Muckermann at the farewell gala dinner of the world cruise, the "Controtempo World Voyage" is scheduled to set sail in January 2025, unlocking experiences in unique destinations during unconventional seasons. Silversea’s well-traveled passengers will be able to experience familiar destinations in a new light, with immersive moments tailored by the line’s destination experts.
