After 2+ years, MSC Cruises’ entire fleet (19 vessels) is back in service.
The final ship to return to active operation was MSC Musica, departing from homeport Monfalcone (Italy) on June 5th.
From Italy, MSC Musica set sail on her first of 23 voyages scheduled for summer 2022. The boat is currently operating 7-night itineraries to ports in the Eastern Mediterranean and Greece.
After completing her summer season in the Eastern Mediterranean, MSC Cruises' Musica ship is scheduled to set sail for South America, where she will operate itineraries for the winter.
The first of MSC Cruises’ liners to return to service was MSC Grandiosa, which restarted guest voyages in August 2020.
During the time of the COVID crisis, MSC Cruises has been able to introduce a couple of new ships to its fleet, MSC Virtuosa in May 2021, and MSC Seashore in August 2021. MSC Virtuosa is currently sailing in Northern Europe and will transition to the Mediterranean in the fall and winter. MSC Seashore is operating in the Caribbean and is scheduled to commence sailings in South America this coming fall & winter.
