RCI-Royal Caribbean announced it is going to Texas for the company's next President's Cruise.
While on the "2022 President's Cruise", Michael Bayley (RCI President and CEO) announced the dates/location for "2023 President's Cruise".
Bayley held an impromptu poll during an onboard event on Ovation of the Seas and asked for a show of hands who would vote for Allure of the Seas from Galveston (Texas USA) or a European voyage. The crowd overwhelming voted for Allure OTS.
RCI's President's Cruise 2023 on Allure OTS departs on July 23, 2023, out of Galveston TX.
The 7-night Western Caribbean itinerary visits Roatan Island (Coxen Hole, Honduras), and Quintana Roo Mexico's Costa Maya and Cozumel.
It is not a surprise that Allure was chosen given Royal Caribbean's new cruise terminal will be opening there in November 2022. Terminal 3's Pier 10 is for exclusive use by the company and with the capacity to accommodate the new Icon Class ships (Icon OTS).
RCI's "President's Cruise" is a regularly scheduled themed voyage but the appeal is for the brand's fans who wish to go on a cruise together.
Hosted by Royal Caribbean's President and CEO, it is a celebration of the company for its loyal customers.
On past President's Cruises, there have always been special events such as celebrity musicians. This year's lineup features the classic rock band "Foreigner".
